The pressures of being the son in a powerful New York family don't just end with Nathan's job.

Pressures extend to family, too. Nathan has got to be a good older brother, too. His younger brother might be watching him, looking up to him, looking to him for answers.

Younger brother, Peter Petrelli, is definitely in need of Nathan's support, only Peter is a tad bit on the messed up side. Peter thinks he can FLY! This nearly drives Nathan around the bend, and he's constantly "shhh-ing" Peter. After all, Nathan is in the public eye, and that means people are always watching him...

...who he's hanging out with!

Now, if he's hanging out with a little brother who always speaks out loudly, saying "But Nathan - I think I can fly..." Well then, this is a problem!

Nathan sure does need a holiday, that's for sure.

Some things that happen to Nathan in Season One:

* The DA's office demands that he expose one of his father's clients
* his younger brother, Peter, keeps having delusional daydreams and even more graphic night-time dreams and Peter claims that he is flying in these waking or non-waking dreams - or something - there's always a special superpower involved.
* His brother actually ACTS ON his dreams and jumps off a highrise building! (Luckily Nathan was there when it happened, so he caught Peter's hand and slowed his descent)
* His mother is arrested for shoplifting...she stole socks...socks. That's it - socks.

Things stranger than these keep happening in Nathan's life.

Heroes Season One is full of surprises for Nathan Petrelli - almost more surprises than one ordinary man can take!

Full Name: Adrian Kayvan Pasdar, American actor.

* Born April 30, 1965
* Iranian and German heritage
* Father, an Iranian surgeon - Mother, a German nurse, then a teacher.
* Attended University of Central Florida on a football scholarship
* Injured in a very serious car accident during freshman year, which ruined his hopes of a football career. It's hard to believe that, at first, the accident left his face very badly scarred!
* Finished freshman year, switching interests and attention from football to on-campus theatre. Here, he honed his writing and acting abilities.
* Dropped out of studies, for obvious reasons, and picked up a job at "Peoples Light and Theatre Company" (sound, lighting, set construction)
* Cut off his thumb while constructing a set, resulting in medical compensation benefits, which he used to enroll in Lee Strasburg's LA Theatre Institute.

* 2000-2002, played Declan Dunn on series "Profit"
* 2003-2005 "David McClaren" on "Judging Amy"
* High profile guest role on "Desperate Housewives"
* Adrian's younger sister is also 'in the biz' - she's an actress
* Adrian married Natalie Maines, of Dixie Chicks fame
* Adrian and Natalie have two children, Jackson Slade and Beckett Finn - they have homes in both LA, California and in Austin, TX
* Adrian's film company is called 'Bobcat Films'
