Hexagon Angle Weave with Beads

Hexagon Angle Weave

Hexagon Angle Weave is a fairly new bead stitch to me, so when I mastered it (to some extent any way) I wanted to share it with other beaders. I find Hexagon angle weave forms a very supple fabric and jewelry made from it is very comfortable to wear.

It can be worked in one or two bead sizes. I found that two bead sizes makes a more pleasing fabric than a single size.

I've made the tutorial in 3 colors. One color is the center of the beginning hexagon and is white to help keep you oriented. It is size 11 seed beads. The second color is blue which is the other size 11 seed beads, and the third is green, representing size 8 seed beads.

Designs can be created in hexagon angle weave by changing the bead colors, much like peyote and brick stitch.

It's like a beaded version of a friendship bracelet, makes me remember making them when I was a teen. Very pretty bead work.
