Hey Monkeybrain Lens Challenge

This week's Giant Squid Training Camp weekly lens challenge is to create a Hey Monkeybrain! lens.

Grab the template by visiting Hey Monkeybrain! Headquarters and use the "Pick a Fight!" section to type in your topic.

The Hey Monkeybrain! co-brand template is perfect for...

-- Starting a debate about important issues
Guyliner - Love it OR Hate it?
-- Asking questions
Do Ghosts Exist?
-- Comparing products
Amazon Kindle vs Sony Reader

Since Hey Monkeybrain! lenses are specifically designed to create reader interaction, this week's top lenses will be chosen by how many comments you can gather on the duel module on your NEW Hey Monkeybrain lens.

So for this week, your challenge is to create a lens that gets people talking!

Lenses with the most discussion going on by January 27, 2010 will be bragged about on the So You Want to be a Giant Squid? and the Giant Squid Showcase blogs so be sure to send your lenses to your friends and family and encourage them to sound off.

And remember Giant Squids always get creative with Squidoo's co-brand templates!

Don't just use what's given to you on the template. Change those generic titles and sub-titles and be sure to add a bit of personality to the lens by way of the many great modules available to you.

Are you up for the challenge?

Of course! Great to try the different Squidoo modules

calendarsblog says:

I guess I was wrong. I did create a hey monkeybrain about calendars after all. I guess I'm not good at ignoring a challenge.

Vladi says:

I have thrown down the gauntlet in this Challenge - and in my monkey-brain

Pukeko says:

I took your challenge. Thanks.

BC4 says:

I'm gonna have to think about this one. But I will be submitting a lens!

EelKat says:

I had an idea for a MonkeyBrain a while back, but never made it for fear that it would turn into an "over heated" debate. I always worry about certain topics being too controversial. Maybe I should make it for this challenge and see what happens?

mariatjader says:

Count me in!

HorseAndPony says:

At first I was like OH NO not a Monkeybrain lens but everything's cool now. I have an idea and I know I can do this! :)

OhMe says:

I've never created a Hey Monkeybrain lens so this will definitely be a learning experience and I am looking forward to it.

LeanneChesser says:

I'm up for the challenge!

No way, Monkeybrain!

calendarsblog says:

No. I don't think calendars are anything to fight about. Also: I already have LOADS of hey monkeybrain lenses on my ordinary lensmaster account. I think I'll leave it at that for now (being busy learning Joomla and all).

Only NEW lenses are eligible for this challenge!

This challenge is only open to new lenses created especially for the Giant Squid Training Camp "Hey Monkeybrain!" challenge.
