Horses for Healing of Northwest Arkansas - Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program

Horses for Healing needs your help. We are stretching our operational dollars to the max during these financial times, but are to the point that we may have to reduce the number of children with special needs that we serve.

Area school districts pay for their students to participate in our programs but those fees represent only about 6% of the operating budget. Ninety percent of the families of our private clients can't afford to pay at all, since they are already burdened with the huge expense related to their child's disability. As a result, Horses for Healing counts on donations to offset the cost of the therapy we provide. The hard fact is, if contributions go down, fewer children can participate.

How do we tell a special needs child who has experienced unbridled joy for the first time in their life while on the back of a horse, that they can't come to the barn anymore?

How do we turn parents away from the therapy that allowed their 5 year old child to gain the balance, strength, coordination and confidence to walk for the first time?

Please help us keep these wonderful children "in the saddle" by making a donation. Together we can continue to provide life changing therapy for the children with special needs in Northwest Arkansas.
