Hi From... AT&T Backpackers Commercial New For 2009

The new AT&T Commercial entitled "Hi From..." (also known as Backpackers) has hit the television airwaves and everybody is buzzing about it on the internet. Many people want to know the name of the song and some more information on the commercial, so I have taken liberty by finding out the scoop on this commercial as much as I could.

I myself fell in love with the story of two backpackers that meet across Europe - only to leave one another from a train station and head back to reality. It's a story about destiny, that these two strangers are destined to be together and with a little help of AT&T, nothing could keep them apart... not even distance.

The song played in the AT&T Backpackers Commercial is a beautiful song entitled "Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop" by Landon Pigg. I have included a special extended version of the commercial as well as lyrics to the beautiful song, the music video and how to download the song.

So if you love the "Hi From... AT&T Commercial", then stick around, watch it, listen to the song and feel free to comment below.

Hi From... AT&T Backpackers Commercial Long Version

60 Second Spot TV commercial.

This is an extended version of the AT&T Commercial entitled "Hi From...", which also known as the AT&T Backpackers commercial. This one is so much better because it shows the girl coming home and then working, doing daily activities as the boy continues to send her text messages, brightening her day. :-) Watch it in HD!!

Hi From... AT&T Backpackers Commercial Commentary

Why I love this commercial so much!

Isn't it funny how you see something on tv or hear a song on the radio and it just brings back wonderful memories? This commercial really touches my heart because it's very similar to how I met my husband. Only 3 years ago... he was American boy visiting and I was a Russian girl waiting to meet him. We fell in love, but due to his Visa restrictions, he soon had to leave. I cried because I didn't want him to go -- and he didn't want to leave either. So, we rolled the dice and took our chances and decided to get married... and to this day, it was single best gamble either one of us took in our entire lives. :-)

This AT&T Backpackers commercial really reminds of that. How love just happens and when it does, you do anything to hold onto it for as long as you can. Life is short after all, and when you meet that special someone, you just can't let go. And in the commercial, that's what happened to them. He took a risk, fled Europe and came to her -- even as crazy as it is, things like this do happen from time to time, and that's the beauty of it.

My favorite part in the commercial is when the girl is sitting on the train looking out the window. The look on her face explains it all -- being lonely, vulnerable and wondering if you will ever meet again. Thinking to yourself if maybe you made a mistake by leaving and now having to deal with the consequences of those actions. It was beautifully portrayed and made me cry when I saw that. I then looked over at my husband and he saw tears in my eyes and jokingly said "Ok Honey.... don't cry... you can have an AT&T phone!" (LOL!) But he knew why I was crying and said he felt the same way about the commercial. :-)

If you haven't seen it -- then please do. It really is a wonderful commercial. So many people wanted to know the song, therefore that's why I created this lens because not many people knew. Of course, I couldn't find it to save my life, but then my husband found it in only seconds when I asked him. He's a computer geek and knows how to find things -- so this lens is for all who aren't computer geeks and just used Google to find their answers. :-) Enjoy!

Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop Lyrics by Landon Pigg

I think that possibly
Maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance
That I've fallen quite hard over you.

I've seen the paths
That your eyes wander down...
I want to come too....
I think that possibly
Maybe I'm falling for you.

No one understands me
Quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me....

(CHORUS)
I never knew
Just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much...
All of the while I never knew....

I think that possibly
Maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance
That I've fallen quite hard over you.

I've seen the waters
That make your eyes shine
Now I'm shining too...

Because, Oh Because
I've fallen quite hard over you.

If I didn't know you
I'd rather not know
If I couldn't have you
I'd rather be alone....

(CHORUS)
I never knew
Just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much...
All of the while I never knew....

I never knew
Just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much...
All of the while I never knew....

All of the while...
All of the while...

It was you....

So here are those great locations in Pacific Grove where the commercial was filmed, as documented here. One of them is Berwick Park, which is located off the Bay in Pacific Grove, California. The Other is the tiny little red cafe where the girl worked, and it's conveniently called "The Red House Cafe." Go visit them both -- it's a beautiful little town and very romantic!

Hi Joe. She's definitely an actress, but I have no idea who she is. I am still trying to find that out. The actor who played the young man is named Gino Burman-Loffredo, but still trying to find out who the actress is. Many people have asked but that info isn't available yet. Sorry.
