The Hideout in Lake Ariel PA

The Hideout covers 4.5 square miles with six lakes and ponds. Lake Roamingwood, 225 acres in size and allows up to 90 hp motorboats, is the largest lake in The Hideout. The other lakes are non-powerboat lakes.

As of 2008, dues for homeowners are $1,328 annually. Dues on vacant lots are slightly less. All fees subject to change. An additional usage fee is charged for certain amenities.

In addition to the association dues, there is also a quarterly charge of $179.00 (based on usage of 25,000 gallons.) This too is subject to change.

When selling your Hideout property, you must purchase a Resale Certificate for $50.

All new property owners in The Hideout pay a one-time Capital Improvement Fee. Currently, the fee is $1175, but is subject to change. (Most associations require new property owners to pay this fee. The funds are placed in a special account by the Association and are used for projects and improvements.)

Property owners may rent their homes. A permit is required before a property may be rented.
