High Riser Beds - Adding Extra Sleeping Space to a Bedroom

An Introduction to the High Riser Bed

At least one prevalent instance of confusion I've discovered in the bedroom décor realm relates to the definition of a high riser bed. Some people say this particular model as being a bed that's raised off the floor and furthermore contains storage capability beneath. Yet, this is only a Captain's bed. Others assume it's a bed that can help seniors or the infirm to rise out of bed each morning. This is incorrect, these forms tend to be known as adjustable beds.

Therefore what exactly is a high riser bed plus what precisely might it be useful for? Well, it's quite simply an extra mattress frame that comes included in an existing daybed or standard bed. Recognized also as a 'pop-up trundle bed', the additional frame is in many cases dragged from below the main frame to form an additional mattress base. This allows for a double bed to be put together which is well suited for sleeping rooms which might be short of space. When not being used, the extra mattress can be snugly tucked away under the main single bed.

Various high riser beds have in-built mattresses which do away with the need to find a separate mattress you may or may not have. Other more cheaper versions consist of only the framework. When purchasing a high riser you should be aware of the different alternatives relating to this. Nearly all these beds work with a spring leaver procedure which is very easy to utilise and requires no back breaking effort or exertion.
