Who is High School Detective Shinichi Kudo

Shinichi Kudo (in Japan) or Jimmy Kudo is a comic character created by comics Gosho Aoyama in series Case Closed Manga. He is a high school sophomore who is very fond of the detective's world. Shinichi Kudo is often called upon by the police department to solve criminal cases.

But, one day, his body was made to shrink after drinking a drug by the two criminals from the "Black Organization" group. Since then, Shinichi Kudo turned into Conan Edogawa and went to an elementary school while in disguise. He lived in the house of his high school friend, Ran, whose father was a private detective. Shinichi (Conan) lived there to save himself from the cruel black organization villains while finding out who they are and how to get the antidote from the drug that had shrunk his body.

With his intelligence and detective instincts, Shinichi Kudo managed to help Ran's father solving various criminal cases. From those cases, he began to learn about the black organizations. Apparently, the organization consists of important people like government officials, famous artists, and scientists. They work together to create chaos in the world and make profits for themselves. They did not hesitate to kill the people who become a barrier for them, among which are the policemen and detectives.

In the next story, Shinichi friends with Ai Haibara, a girl who had also taken a shrinking drug, in his elementary school. Ai used to be a researcher at the black organization that discovered the drug and its antidote. Ai is regarded as the organization's betrayal, because she refused to continue developing the drug. As a result, she is being chased by members of the organization.

Shinichi's other rival is a high school magician and thief, Kaito Kid. Kid is a genius in magic tricks, he plays tricks to steal priceless jewelries, paintings, etc. He does it only for fun and challenge Shinichi Kudo, and right after he does his acts he returns back the stolen stuffs.
