Its Summer Time For High School Musical
It is the summer before senior year at East High. All our favorite characters are looking forward to the summer but all want to get some money together for college - and Chad wants a car!Troy Bolton has a summer job at Lava Springs Country Club which is owned by Sharpay and Ryan Evans parents. Little does Troy know that this is part of Sharpay's plan to steal him from Gabriella Montez.
Unaware of Sharay's plot, Troy gets a job for Gabriella and his Wildcat team mates join him at Lava Springs.
Sharpay Evans finds out that Kelsi has written a duet just for Troy and Gabriella that's sure to win everyone's hearts at the club's annual Midsummer Night's Talent Show.
Sharpay is determined not to suffer a repeat of her humiliation at the school musical and starts her campaign to make sure she's not upstaged again.
Troy is tempted by Sharpay's privileged lifestyle and the world of basketball scholarships and chances to mix with the stars. Troy finds it hard to balance his new tempting lifestyle with his old trusted friends.
Which path will Troy choose when his values are once again called into question?

Everyone is being quiet about how the talks are going but it seems that summer 2008 should see the movie theater release of High School Musical 3.The first idea seemed to be Haunted High School Musical but this now seems to have changed to something around graduation and the prom.
Rumor has it that zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are holding out for the right money - reported to be $1 million!
All everyone will say is that talks for High School Musical 3 are still going on! Zac Efron himself has said that he is excited about High School Musical 3 and that is is the quality of the script and not the amount of the money which will make his decision.
High School Musical 3 will be a movie theater release, not a made for TV movie.

Efron was born October 18th 1987 in San Luis Obispo, California, and raised close by in Arroyo Grande. He started acting at age 11 when his parents noticed his singing talent. He got his first part in the musical Gypsy. He got lots of roles on stage and then TV followed. He landed a big break to join the cast of Summerland as Cameron Bale.
Zac loves gold, skiing, surfing, rock climbing and snowboarding. He plays the piano and is teaching himself guitar.
A bit of a perfectionist at school, Zac Efron has said that he didn't like to get a B and not an a grade! He graduated in summer 2006. Zac lives at home with his younger brother Dylan Efron. They have two Australian Shepherd dogs named Dreamer and Puppy!

Zac Efron was working on the movie Hairspray so did not join the rest of the cast.
Drew Seeley was Troy Bolton. He co-wrote "Get'cha Head in the Game". His voice was also 'blended' with zac Efron's for the original High School Musical moive.
Unfortunately the tour is not running at the moment. Hopefully there will be news of High School Musical 2 The Concert!

Vanessa Anne Hudgens was born on December 14th 1988 in Salinas California. Vanessa has acted since the age of 8 and was homeschooled from the seventh grade onwards. She first appeared in musicals when she was just 8 years old. She moved to Los Angeles after being cast in her first commercial.
Vanessa Hugdens made her movie debut in Thirteen as Noel and appeared in the Thunderbirds movie in 2004 as Tintin. Her television appearances include guest roles on Quintuplets, Still Standing, The Brothers Garcia and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, as Corrie, a classmate of Maddie and London. Hudgens also appeared on Drake & Josh, playing Drake's girlfriend, Rebecca.
Her biggest role to date is as Gabriella Montez alongside Zac Efron in High School Musical which was released in January 2006. High School Musical 2 followed in August 2007.
