How to Have the Best HSM Birthday Party!
We can help you have a fantastic HSM party! In fact, we had my daughter's party before they even had HSM party supplies and the girls still talk about it two years later!
We bought lots of Tiger Beat magazines with all the stars from HSM and had them taped up everywhere in the house. We even wrapped up the prizes in the magazine pictures.
The games and karaoke were hysterical! Our party was in August so instead of treat bags we used HSM folders the girls could use for school that upcoming year. We got lucky and one of the local stores (Limited 2) was handing out glossy photos of the movie and since we purchased our 12 buttons there, the woman was kind enough to include 12 glossy 8 x 10 photos.
We had large chocolate bar wrappers for Hershey Bars made to hand out to all the girls at the end of the party with the HSM logo. Super cute!
The first thing we did was hand out invitations including HSM buttons that each girl could wear to the party. We made our invites but they now have ones you can buy...very cute.
Party Games
No More "Pin the Tail on the Donkey!"
We came up with a game so much more fun..."Pucker Up"! We had a large poster of Zac Efron. Each girl put lipstick on and was blindfolded. They were turned around three times and let loose. The girl with her lip marks closest to Zac's lips won. It was so fun and the girls laughed hysterically. Once they made their mark we had little "lips" printed off the computer with their names on them and stuck them to the spot they kissed. They wanted to play this game over and over! We had cardboard cut-out's of Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale and the girls could stand in between them and get their picture taken with them. It went over super! HSM Karaoke!
Belt it Out!!
Along with the "Pucker Up" game we sang HSM karaoke. The girls were shy at first so we did a group song with "We're All In This Together." Once we got that down, the girls picked partners and then wanted to do solos as well. This could have been the only party game and they would have been happy. They would have gone on for hours. Boyfriend on a Stick!?
We did this idea for this years Hollywood themed party but it would work for the HSM party too. We cut out 12 different "heartthrobs" from the teeny-bopper mags. We taped them to cardboard and a popcicle stick. When the girls arrived we let them know they each had a date. After tons of giggles the birthday girl picked names out of a hat and the girls "met" their dates for the party..."Boyfriend on a stick." The birthday girl got to choose her date first, which was, of course, Zac Efron.This was so much fun. By the end of the party we had three engagements! LOL!
