1975 : Went to Arkansas and marry Bill Clinton
1975 : Joined the faculty of the University of Arkansas Law School
1976 : Joined the Rose Law Firm
1978 . Bill Clinton became governor of Arkansas.She served as Arkansas's First Lady for 12 years
1980 : Their daughter, Chelsea, was born
1993 : Her active role began
2000, November 7 : Elected first First Lady elected to the United States Senate and the first woman elected statewide in New York.
January 20, 2007, Clinton announced her candidature for the presidential election of 2008
June 7 2008 , Clinton ended her campaign and endorsed Obama.
December 1, 2008: President-elect Obama formally announces that Hillary Clinton will be his nominee for Secretary of State.

When Bill Clinton became the American President in 1992, Hillary Rodham Clinton took on the title of the "First Lady of the United States".

But unlike the other First Lady, who simply smiled and looked goodfor the camera, she was not the usual First Lady. She is the only First Lady of the United States who held a post graduate degree and have had a succesful carreer.

During her stay at the White House she continued to live a very active life and fight for causes she believes in (i.e The Rights of women and children worldwide).

Because of her very strong personality, she has had to support lots of negative remarks from the media and political critics(i.e Billary or Co-Presidents).

Her marriage to Bill Clinton become strained in 1998 after a brief affair that Bill Clinton had with Monica Lewinsky. But they faced the media, remained together and continue to have a very strong relationship.

After her husband's presidency, she has continued in politics. She is currently a Senator (state of New York.Democratic Party).

The media and the politicians speculates about Hillary's fiasco for the 2008 presidential race. Its still is just speculation : till now she has not said that she will be running for election.

Either we like or dislike Hillary Clinton, we have to recognize that this Lady has a multiple facets personality and that she will always be capable of surprising her friends as well as her enemies. A fascinating reading.
