Hawaii Tokai International College will have a da of yoga practice, "A Yoga Marathon for Peace fundraiser ". Participants are encouraged to collect pledges to cover the $108.00 attendance fee of which 80% of the proceeds will go to the Institute for Human Services and Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope. There will be performances by the Institute for Human Services' kids yoga classes and the kids of Uke N8ture. For more information contact:

I don't own my own computer, yet. I use the public library computers for right now. Every year, the public library has a book sale by The Friends of the Library. I found some very good videos I enjoy for just a dollar. In your community public library's book sale is worth going to to find some great bargains that will surprise you!

Just when you think that the world is cruel, you read an article or hear on television news that someone is doing nice things for someone else. It warms your heart to know that though the world seems bad, it isn't so bad because of people like you who are kind and helpful. The Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk is under way in May. Chai's Island Bistro Restaurant at Aloha Tower Marketplace is holding a funding for Janell Araki to help her with her medical expenses.
