Hemp Seed Oil Salad Dressing

Hemp Seed Oil Mayonnaise

Ingredients:
2 - whole eggs
10 fl oz - Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil
1 tsp - white wine vinegar
1 tsp - mustard powder
1 - clove of garlic (crushed)
salt and pepper to taste

Method:
- Place 2 whole eggs into a blender, along with the mustard, garlic, salt and pepper and blend together.
- Pour all of the Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil into the blender in a steady stream while the machine is operating, so that it is immediately whisked into the egg yolk mixture.
- Switch off the machine and taste the mayonnaise. Add the vinegar and whisk together one last time.

Hemp Seed Nugget Oatmeal

NEW RECIPE

Ingredients:
2/3 Cups Organic Oatmeal or Quaker Oats
1 1/2 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds
3 Tbsp Maple Syrup or too taste
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar or too taste

Preparation Steps:
Bring water to a boil and add organic oatmeal. Lower heat to low/simmer and cook the oatmeal until desired thickness. Remove from heat and cover for 2 to 3 min. Add Hemp Seed Nuggets, Maple Syrup and Brown Sugar then mix well.

Additional Items I recommend for Oatmeal: Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Protein Powder, Raisins, Hippie Butter Toasted Hemp Seeds, Apples or anything else your mother severed.

Makes: 2 Servings
Cook Time: 10 min.

Hemp Seed Nugget Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup firmly packed Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil or Canola Oil
1/2 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 Cup Hippie Butter Hemp Flour or Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
2 Cups Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1/4 - 1/2 Cup Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds

Preparation Steps
Heat oven to 350ºF. In large bowl, beat brown sugar, egg, Hemp Seed oil, applesauce and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until combined. Add combined flours, baking soda and salt; beat on low speed just until blended. Stir in oats and Hemp Seed Nuggets.
Drop dough by level measuring tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes, until light brown. (Do not overbake. Centers will appear soft.) Cool 1 to 2 minutes on cookie sheets; transfer to wire racks. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.

Cook Time: 9 Minutes
Time to Table: 29 Minutes
Recipe Yield: About 36 Cookies

Hemp Seed Pesto Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
4 Tablespoons Hippie Butter Toasted Hemp Seeds or Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds
6 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 cup Fresh Coriander
1 Garlic Clove

Preparation Steps
Grind hemp seeds if using Hippie Butter Toasted Hemp Seed
Blend all ingredients in food processor, add additional oil as needed

Use wherever pesto is called for
serves 4

Hemp Seed Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 Cup Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil
1/2 Cup honey
1 beaten egg
2 mashed bananas
1 1/2 cups unbleached white flour
1/2 cup Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 Cup Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Preparation Steps
Cream together the oil and sweetener. Combine the eggs and banana, and blend into the sweet mixture. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder. Add the Hemp Nuggets and vanilla and mix well. Bake at 350° F. for 1 to 11/4 hours until a toothpick comes out clean.

Hemp Seed Granola Recipe

We get lots of compliments on this recipe

Ingredients:
4 cups unsweetened plain granola
1/2 cup each hulled, toasted, unsalted, sunflower and pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup flax seeds
3/4 cup Hippie Butter Hulled Hemp Seeds
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup Hippie Butter Hemp Seed Oil

Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 300F (150C).
Evenly spread granola in a 9 x 13 inch (3L) glass baking dish.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Add sunflower, pumpkin, flax and hemp seeds to the granola and mix well.
Place honey in a microwavable bowl or cup and heat for 1 to 2 minutes on high until hot but not boiling.
Pour over oil.
Drizzle honey mixture over the granola, mixing well until evenly coated.
Spread evenly and bake mixture for another 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Cool to room temperature before storing in an air-tight container.

Makes 8 cups (2L).
