What is hiren's bootcd?

Hiren's Boot CD is a boot CD containing various diagnostic programs such as partitioning agents, system performance benchmarks, disk cloning and imaging tools, data recovery tools, MBR tools, BIOS tools, and many others for fixing various computer problems. It is a Bootable CD; thus, it can be useful even if the primary operating system cannot be booted. Hiren's Boot CD has an extensive list of software. Utilities with similar functionality on the CD are grouped together and seem redundant; however, they present choices through UI's differences and options in what they can do.

cool, where can i download it from?

well for the download
i found a torrent ot be the best as the file is around 500 mb, so people with low connection or that keeps losing connections, may find it hard to download it
anyway here is the torrent file. I recommend using bittorrent or utorrent for windows users.

Instructions

after burning the iso file to cd (tutor coming soon)
1. make sure your computer is off, put the cd in the cd drive
2. start the computer
3. when it shows something like "press any key to boot from cd....", then press any key
4. a menu will come, choose "kon-boot"
5. wait for kon boot to load then press enter
6. now your computer will start as it does normally
7. when the password screen comes, type anything or leave it empty, you will be granted access
8. if you restart your pc, the password will be back again and the effect of cd will vanish

what does kon boot do?
it replaces the windows password file with a fake one, and makes backup to the original one, the fake file accepts any password. when you restart the pc with the cd out, the system deletes the fake file and uses the original once again
