Hitachi has been in the TV industry for many years and many years to come, with the launch of their superb P50H401 high definition plasma home TV you can see the prime example of combining performance and quality. Feel free to read on, or learn about the latest models, news, and technology with updated HDTV reviews.

Introducing The Hitachi P50H401 1080p Plasma HDTV.

This particular TV uses the HD1080 High Definition display technology, you will not find a better eye pleasing TV in this price range. It's capable of having a maximum 1280 x 1080 x 3 resolution which with bright pixels making the picture clear, crisp and very satisfying. In today's world you get what you pay for. If you find a cheaper alternative, more times then not, the quality will not be as good at the Hitachi P50H401 which is true value for money.

It has many features in order to give you a more pleasing experience such as MPEG noise reduction which will remove any unwanted noises, dynamic contrast and histogram processing giving the best output based on the light source in that particular room.

A common problem that you find with plasma screens is that the screen is very reflective so you can see yourself watching TV if the sun or light is shining onto the screen, the Hitachi P50H401 is fitted with an anti-reflective screen which will eradicate any reflections which can make it hard to view the TV correctly. With any 50 inch TV you can expect it to be wide, the dimensions of the Hitachi P50H401 are 48 13/16 inches wide by 32 5/16 high and has a depth of 5 1/16. To say the Hitachi P50H401 is a 50inch monitor is still only weighs 103 lbs which is exceptionally good compared to some of the leading competition. This TV comes complete with a stand so you can have it on a cabinet and has the optional upgrade to include wall brackets so you can mount it on any wall capable of housing the TV.

It has many features that can make this TV stand out from the rest such as MTS stereo SAP with DBX, simulated surround sound, bass boost, a 20 watt speaker system and a 'TV as centre' speaker. This can give you even more confidence that this will be more then satisfied with your home cinema experience which will impress your friends and family.

Final Opinion On This Hitachi HDTV.

There are features that this TV has enabling even more customization and ease of use so if your not very technology friendly you will be still able to operate this product. Some of these features include on/sleep timers, three different language options, pre programmed remote, front panel menu controls and many more.

My opinion of the Hitachi P50H401 is that you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a quality TV, if in the event of any problems with it you can return to Hitachi as it has a one year parts and labour guarantee so there are no risks if this TV falls into your budget. Another advantage of this TV is the fact it looks stunning, available in an all black shell it will look sleek and classy in any room of your home.
