This particular TV uses the HD1080 High Definition display technology, you will not find a better eye pleasing TV in this price range. It's capable of having a maximum 1280 x 1080 x 3 resolution which with bright pixels making the picture clear, crisp and very satisfying. In today's world you get what you pay for. If you find a cheaper alternative, more times then not, the quality will not be as good at the Hitachi P50H401 which is true value for money.

It has many features in order to give you a more pleasing experience such as MPEG noise reduction which will remove any unwanted noises, dynamic contrast and histogram processing giving the best output based on the light source in that particular room.

A common problem that you find with plasma screens is that the screen is very reflective so you can see yourself watching TV if the sun or light is shining onto the screen, the Hitachi P50H401 is fitted with an anti-reflective screen which will eradicate any reflections which can make it hard to view the TV correctly. With any 50 inch TV you can expect it to be wide, the dimensions of the Hitachi P50H401 are 48 13/16 inches wide by 32 5/16 high and has a depth of 5 1/16. To say the Hitachi P50H401 is a 50inch monitor is still only weighs 103 lbs which is exceptionally good compared to some of the leading competition. This TV comes complete with a stand so you can have it on a cabinet and has the optional upgrade to include wall brackets so you can mount it on any wall capable of housing the TV.
