Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is one of those rare books that actually made me laugh out loud!

I enjoyed the first book, but wasn't a huge fan of the movie. I haven't gotten around to reading the others.

OMG - if I ever get in a funk - I have this to return to! I think I will get a "Don't Panic" mousepad for my mundane job at a call center.

Arthur (about to get pushed out of a Vogon airlock into the vacuum of space): "It's at times like this I wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young."
Ford: "Why? What did she tell you?"
    Arthur: "I don't know, I didn't listen."

I hate to be a pedant, but you REALLY should not say that the radio series is more faithful to the books, when it was the radio series which came first.
    Ho-hum.

I read the books in high school, and then got hold of the original radio dramas during college. Have not watched the TV show, and did not care for the Hollywood movie.

I read the whole series of books back in high school. Loved them. I remember the old BBC series also.

Great Lens. Somehow prophecies are coming to existence. It looks like we are getting this Zaphod's Betlegues strait on our heads.

Somehow I managed to escape the Sixties and Seventies without ever once reading Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Always meant to. It's still on my very long list of unread books. Thanks for giving me a peek.

The books are awesome...and so was the original radio series. The TV series was also great but I really didn't like the film version :(

I loved the book as a kid and quite enjoy the movie of a few years back. It's quirky and clever and thoroughly unique. :) Your lens brought it all back and makes me want to read the book again.

Oh HI there ... I am actually feeling like I am part of a time warp and experiencing another galaxy! Merry Christmas.

You've made me want to re-read the book. Thanks!

Returned to give this lens a Squid Angel blessing.

One of my favourite books/ tv programmes. Sheer brilliance. Anyone who can come up with a name like Zaphod Beeblebrox has to be creative. I played a computer game that was fun, designed by Douglas Adams too...Starship Titanic

Yeah...love this one. When going for a long drive say from Canada to Florida, this was always a favourite entertainment.

The Hitchhiker's Guide might be the most famous book I've never read. Thanks for the nice lens and great quotes. I'm motivated to read the book now.

If any Guide fans are interested. I found someone who is selling iPad cases with "Don't Panic" printed in large, friendly letters on the cover. Cool idea seeing as how the iPad is probably the closest thing to the guide that anyone has created. Check out the case, here: http://www.mycaseconcepts.com/

Although I know there is a real God (no doubt!) I thought this was one of the funniest movies, even thought of making a lens... glad you made it. There are so many quotes to choose from... I love the slapping face thing from the ground, can't remember what it was, but funny! One of our faves! 5 stars.
