Donations cost $5.00 USD but you can buy a donator pack in-game from players for roughly $13,500,000 (as of December 2010) - an active seasoned player can easily earn this type of money in just a few days of casual gameplay.

Your character's condition is a dynamic state. There are stats, skills, drinking effects, candy effects, and item effects.

Your Stats
*Strength - Strength mostly effects your ability to defend yourself from attack. Higher strength will yield less damage per hit from your attackers, and it will also provide a little extra damage on your attacks

*Speed - Speed effects how "fast" you are in combat. Having higher speed than your opponent means you will most likely take more swings at your opponent than they will take at you.

*Power - Power effects how much damage you output. Your power is put up against your opponent's defense (Strength + Armor) and that is how damage gets calculated.

*Intelligence - Intelligence plays a major role for all Hobos. It will increase experienced earned from fighting or begging, cash earned from fighting NPCs and begging, your training's base value, and the value of your cans upon trade-in.

*Begging - Begging yields your hobo money from NPCs. Higher begging stat will increase your earning potential. After reaching 50 begging, you will be allowed to gain experience while begging.

*Drinking - Drinking gets your Hobo drunk! Drunk Hobos will randomly get drunken punches while in combat. Drinking also provides light stat gain (different drinks give gains to different stats) and eventually allows you to unlock a large selection of skills which can be used to increase your ability to win fights.

*Respect - Respect is linked to rings. Having high positive or very low ("high negative") respect makes your ring more useful and potent. You loss/gain respect off other players. Attack a positive respected player to lose respect, or attack a negative respected player to gain respect.

Character Status
Drinking & Candy Effects - Different alcoholic drinks and candies will provide your Hobo with a special effect. Some increase your chance to dodge attacks, some increase your ability to gain money or experience while begging. There are even effects that increase your stats by a flat value or percentage for a temporary period of time! Currently there are over 50 different effects that your Hobo can be under the influence of (only one at a time though)
