Play on words of Hockey terminology is what I've been using and its worked out great. My biggest seller is "5 Minutes for Biting".

Its a great shirt because many babies are biters. From age 1 - Preschool. And since biting is bad (as I tell my son everyday) sometimes you just want to give your child some time in the penalty box.

I have recently started making hockey shirts with animals on them. Two designs are incorporating the "cute" of animals with hockey terminology. You can see a sample of my "High Stick" design below featuring a giraffe.

Whether it is fall, winter or spring, it is hockey season. All the products you see below are great gifts for friends and family and are excellent choices for Christmas and birthdays.

If you were wondering how I make my designs, I use a Macintosh computer and Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator from the Creative Suite series.

Photoshop is great in taking my drawings in from scans and converting them into a format that can be easily redrawn in Illustrator.

Illustrator has multiple options for creating your design. You can build from scratch or redraw your original sketch from paper.

By placing your artwork into Illustrator, you have the option of creating a new layer, and tracing your image manually with a mouse.
Another option is to place your image and adjust your settings in the LiveTrace option, allowing you to create a vector design of artwork either in color or black and white. The options also allow the ability for thicker or thinner strokes, the curvature of the line and the "sketchiness" of the image.

Adobe Illustrator is a great choice for would be designers.
