Stop, I can't look any more. You've got me so homesick. I can taste the pasta of Italian Affair. It's the best ever and I haven't had it in almost 8 years, since we've been on the mission field serving in the states. So many places I've set my foot on in the past. (Woodstown, Vineland Christmas parade events also.) I can't wait to show my husband this lens so we can sneak a peak of home. I appreciate your work here. Thanks. It's made today a bit merrier.

OH! So great to hear from a local SJersey-ite, even if "transplanted" or away from "home" for too long. I wanted to create a Salem County version of this list to include Woodstown as well as I live so close (I'm literally a short walk from the border between Gloucester and Salem counties) but just didn't get to it this year.

My partner's family has held their 7 Fishes Christmas Eve dinner at Italian Affair as long as I've known him...which is about 7 years now! That was my introduction to the tradition, as actually my Northern Italian family does not mark the occasion in such a fashion. Here's some trivia for you - it's actually because of the Carrozzino family that Italian Affair *does* 7 Fishes on Christmas Eve, or so I'm told. They used to have it in family homes or neighborhood halls until the family got too big (we typically have 40-50 people to serve), and they talked Italian Affair in to preparing the family favorites for a private Christmas Eve dinner. Then they decided it was so popular in the neighborhood they'd offer a similar menu to all diners that night! I'm already drooling anticipating the dinner in just a few weeks. :)

I promise I'll update with some photos from Italian Affair and around the area now that the Christmas displays are all in full effect right now.
