This aquarium includes an aquarium and four zoos. Most famous zoo in the facility is Bronx Zoo. This zoo features more than 650 species of animals and most of them are on the verge of extinction. Outdoor exhibits feature zebras, lions, African wild dogs and nyalas roaming freely whereas the indoor exhibits feature 800 animals such as gibbons, otters, scorpions and stag beetles.

The aquarium covers an area of 14 acres. While strolling around the aquarium, you can take a closer look at more than 350 marine species. Several environmentalists and biologists plan holidays to New York especially to visit this aquarium and be a part of special exhibits, research and public events that raise awareness about the issues that are being faced by ocean and marine creatures.
