Flower Essences for Animals
Remedies for your friends' emotional and physical well-being

Pets have feelings too! Flower Essences are a safe and gentle way to help your companions in times of stress or with behavioral issues. They can be administered on a regular basis or as needed, either directly or placed in their drinking water. Animals generally respond faster and stronger to Flower Remedies than humans. The remedies can be beneficial in helping our friends be more at ease in uncomfortable or unfamiliar situations.
The correct Flower Essence can help -
**Fears of thunder, strangers, fireworks
**Calm a nervous animal
**Help them deal with surgical recovery
**Allow them to be relaxed during travel
**Assist when introducing a new pet to the family
**And MORE!

Animals and Homeopathy
Homeopathic treatment can be used successfully with animals as well. Many veterinarians are blending homeopathic remedies in to their practice. There are also many Veterinarians who are specifically trained in holistic methods and many "human" homeopaths also treat animal clients as well.Homeopathy uses small doses of substances to stimulate the body and mind to heal itself. Experiments in dairy cattle have shown that cows with mastitis respond quicker to homeopathic treatment than to standard antibiotics, and have less "down time" from giving milk as the homeopathic remedies do not affect the quality of the milk. Homeopathy is gentle and safe for use in humans and animals. Remedies are regulated by the FDA in the United States as over-the-counter drugs. They are not "herbs" nor "supplements".

About me

I am a graduate of the The Homeopathy School Of Colorado and hold the designation of CHom (Classical Homeopath). While at the school, I had the privelege of training under homeopaths Alastair Gray, DSH, PCH, Judith Reichenberg-Ullman, ND, DHANP, MSW and Robert Ullman, ND, DHANP, and Kim Elia. I also participated as a supervisor in the published proving of Aquilegia vulgaris - the common Columbine.
I have been providing online consultations for 2 years in addition to my regular in-office practice.
I've used Flower Essence Remedies personally and
with my children, my pets, and other family members for the past 8 years and with my homeopathic clients for 4 years. I have been heavily influenced Ian Watson's work with using flower essences in tandem with homeopathy
I have received training in Flower Essence Therapy, Western Herbal Medicine, Reflexology, Health Counseling, Holistic Counseling, Nutritional Counseling, Reiki and Crystal Healing, and Eastern Meditation for health issues.
My philosophy is to offer the BEST care available to each client in a complementary way. I believe that everyone should be educated about all available options regarding their health and well-being and to have access to the best of all systems, whether they be traditional or modern, allopathic or holistic. Integrative medicine benefits everyone.
Living on the beautiful plains of eastern Colorado, I share my life with my husband of 14 years, our 4 children, our horses, cats, goats, a dog, and a ferret.

Happy Clients
.....Furry clients, but happy nonetheless....
*Jonsey, a 5-year-old Chow/Golden Retriever Mix spent a great deal of his time escaping from his yard to explore the neighborhood. After his yard was secured so he was no longer able to escape he became depressed and would whine on and off during the day and evening. He also became territorial at this time. Homeopathic treatment combined with Bach Rescue Remedy stopped his vocalizations, calmed down his territorial behaviors, and generally calmed him down.
*Frankie was horrifically abused as a small kitten and removed from his mother much too early. Despite being rescued into a loving, stable household, he struggled for most of his life with physical and psychological ailments. Although homeopathic treatment was never able to fully cure his fearfullness of humans, he was able to live out his life more calm and did bond to his human companions. Regular doses of individual flower essences helped him remain calm when change occured. His health issues were resolved, and he lived to the ripe old age of 13.
*Chance, a 25-year-old Arabian mare, was treated successfully for nervous issues. She would pace constantly back and forth along a small parcel of fence despite having ample yard space to exercise in, had a problem with "nipping" when given a treat by hand, and had recently begun cribbing. She was also fearful about veterinarians. Homeopathic treatment calmed her down greatly. She still paces, but only occasionally, she takes treats gently (even from small children), and her cribbing was stopped cold before it became a serious habit. Chance also receives Bach Rescue Remedy just prior to Veterinary care. A horse that was once nearly impossible for the vet and a handler to keep still is now calm and cool as a cucumber while being checked out!
*Sara is a pygmy cross goat who became depressed and restless after the death of one of her close yard mates. She spent most of her time wandering the area looking for her friend. She was treated with Flower Essences to help her overcome the grief which led to obsessive behaviors.
