About Hollis, NH
In every season, there is something to do in the area. In the winter, many people seek out the solitude of Hollis conservation lands. Areas like the Beaver Brook Association, Woodmont Orchard, or the town land attract many looking to snowshoe, cross country ski, or even snowmobile where permitted. And of course, in spring, these lands come to life for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more. Summertime and fall feature the agricultural nature of Hollis as many of the local farmstands sell their own corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, pumpkins, berries, apples, and even cherries. You can even pick your own fruit during much of the growing season. Hollis also has a signature race - the Hollis Applefest Half Marathon - which attracts over a thousand runners from New England.
