Holly's Dollies Handmade Dolls and Doll Clothes

Hello! And welcome to Holly's Dollies! Where handmade dolls and doll clothes come from the heart.

I have always loved sewing and have always loved dolls! I've been sewing about 21 years.

My doll business, Holly's Dollies, began with seeing some adorable soft-sculptured bunny dolls in a craft mall. They were a bit on the pricey side and DH whispers, "You could do that yourself". My first attempts weren't very professional looking, but I was determined. The sewing was a lot of fun, selecting fabrics, patterns and supplies was all such a fantastic challenge.

I don't really have a favorite style or pattern. I enjoy making the soft-sculptured babies the most. Prims are a lot of fun as there are no rules on perfection. I love animal dolls, too... See, no real favorite!

Handmade Traditional Raggedy Ann and Andy

With a little twist - No Buttons!

Handmade Raggedy Ann and Andy

I am a firm believer that every child (boys and girls alike) should have a Raggedy Ann or Andy. Hopefully both!
I make the traditional Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls in three sizes - 15", 26" and the delightful 36" tall. They are a lot of fun to make and conjure up images and memories of my grandmother making these dolls for all of us.
I make these dolls with a bit of a twist - No buttons to pose a choking hazard. The eyes, nose and smile are all hand painted using non-toxic acrylic paint. No buttons on Ann's apron.
