This history rich music venue got started in 1922 with a performance by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The wood-bench, open-air theatre evolved into the beautiful venue that exists today hosting the likes of the greatest musicians, over the years, such as the Beatles, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and Luciano Pavarotti.

Tips for the Hollywood Bowl

1. Dress comfortably, but keep the type of show you're viewing in mind. Also, it's a good idea to wear closed toe shoes when there are a lot of people who may step on your feet.

2. Arrive as early as possible. It's always difficult to predict traffic on the highways. If you give yourself ample time to get there you'll stress less about arriving on time.

3. If it's a hot day, or if the sun is still up, be sure to drink plenty of water and keep sunscreen handy. This venue is outdoors.

4. Keep some bug repellent handy in case mosquitoes are flying around.
