Buying a home is challenging and time consuming. It is necessary to have a home inspection. Get some recommendations and talk to a few inspectors. Make sure that the inspector is a member of professional organization.

Short Sales just may get easier! H.R. 6133 has been introduced into Congress. It would impose a deadline on banks to respond to short sale requests within 45-days. This is good news for all of us who have waited months for a bank to make a decision on a short sale offer.

H.R. 6133 is sponsored by Reps. Robert Andrews (D-New Jersey) and Tom Rooney (R-Florida). Congressman Rooney states: “I have heard from many short sellers in Florida whose potential homebuyers have walked away because they couldn’t get a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ from their lenders. This bill would spur growth in the housing market by helping sellers and buyers complete short sales quickly.”

We at MembershipAmerica.com agree with Congressman Rooney. We believe that, if pushed into a corner, the banks will accept many more short sale offers.

Buying a home is the biggest business decision most people will make in their lifetime. Don't just buy it on emotion. Do the math and buy only if you are getting what you, and at a great price. I suggest that you buy below current market value because real estate values may have not hit bottom yet!
