New cost effecitve option for home care for aging

For years I've been part of the great team that helped US families find caregivers and companions for aging parents and grandparents. We let people discover least expensive and most personal and dignified care - direct hire home care. The appreciation was so rewarding that I decided to make it national and free. Yes, FREE.
Before 2009 if you need home care giver you go to agency and they send you an aid they employ and you pay them for her services. Guess what, out of the money you pay to agency only about half are caregiver's earnings. Rest are the fees the agencies pocket.
Once you do the math you start placing ads into newspapers and pocking friends to find someone. But, guess what it's not that easy as you have requirements and wishes. And who knows if thouse people could be trusted?! Then you get number of eldercare coordinator or geriatric care professional who has the right people. But for the name of one you might use could cost at least $150 and easily $500 .
So we were writing and working and planning and finally in 2009 we are unveiling our treasured eldercare baby: ChoiceEldercare.org
website! The website that will let you get hands on thousands direct hire caregivers and browse profiles with pictures. Care coordinators are ready to discuss your situation, help you plan care and make an appointment with the caregiver that match your every wish. And most importantly the service is FREE. Yes, there are advertisers who are happy to give you our services, so go on, fill out a service request.
PS: We never ever ask even for financial info.

You are touching valid topics, so let me address them. Please remember that caregivers are legal home employee and have all rights and protection of federal laws

    * ChoiceEldercare.org checks backgrounds of the caregivers
    * For those who need same trained by agency and licenced by state caregivers available at fraction of cost
    * Depending on the agreement taxes are paid by aether party (W2 or 1040)
    * Injuries in resplendence are covered by homeowners insurance
    * Both worker compensation and bonding can be purchased through state licensed agents.
Please understand time of overpaying has passed. Many just' can't afford paying $20-$25/hour instead of $10 the caregiver would have received anyways
    MORE IMPORTANTLY :
Care hired through conventional agency is very limited. No pet care, no driving, no care for other family members, no live-in employment, high hour requirements. None of it's made with care recipient in mind.

Who's paying for the caregiver's taxes?
Who's responsible if the caregiver has a back injury due to caregiving at your residence? Who is responsible if they steal something or abuse you or your loved one? -- the person who hired them are the responsible ones. The agency is not just making money, they are protecting their clients from a multitude of things that can go wrong. They take ownership in training their caregivers, background checks, Workers Comp and more -- Think twice about it.

Thanks for warm words and advice on my first lens! It's true most would rather stay home and keep their aging parents if they would only know about the options we offer. I truly appreciate that you find our site to be only logical solution.
It's seems so simple and logical and whoever learn about our free service is ecstatic, still we have hard time spreading the word around.
