Charming Cross Stitch Pictures for Home Decor
This picture hangs in my coffee-loving sister's London sitting room. It's the kind of handcrafted art that fits well with traditional decorating, cottage theme rooms, and lots of eclectic styles.
Cross stitch designs are available to enhance any decorating style.
Please note how the mats for this piece pick up the colors of the threads. The frame material also harmonizes with the colors and style of the piece.

A Gift to Grace a New Home
I stitched this picture in 2005 and had it professionally framed. It took a while to make, as it is stitched on a 32-count Irish linen.
Also, it was a challenge to choose the mats, to get just the right tones of red and green. But I worked with the framer, who was familiar with the details of how to work with needlework, and we found the right tones of light sea green and rich berry red.
This picture is framed under glass to protect it from dust and from light that could damage it over time. The entire frame job was done using acid-free materials. This picture should last for many, many years in perfect condition.
An heirloom in the making!

- Your framed coffee cross stitch is lovely. I think personalized touches are what make a house a home. Beautiful inspiration. I've added this to my quilting Squidoo angel lens, it's close enough.

- I miss being able to cross-stitch! (carpal tunnel surgery left little tremor in right hand) I have several professionally framed pictures that I made. Congratulations on a wonderful page!
