Home fitness workout

Home fitness workout routines do not need to be boring, long winded - or perhaps worse than anything else - fruitless. In fact, I'm here to show you how most of the things we have been taught about fitness in general and at home workouts and fitness in particular is dead wrong...

You see, a lot of people - even in the fitness industry itself - get things terribly mixed up, wasting a lot of valuable time and efforts for anyone wanting to lose weight, get in shape, obtain better fitness, improve health, or what ever the goal might be.

So without further ado - let's work on improving the fitness ... in just minutes a the time. Let's discuss a home fitness workout that is fun, easy to do and which takes a minimum of time out of your busy schedule!

Home fitness based opportunity

...and a brilliant, simple and effective workout program!

Workout...? What a horrible concept!

If your anything like me, then the last thing you want is more work - I work more than enough already, thank you very much!

The idea of getting down to the gym and spending half an hour on the stair climber and doing all these strength exercises on top of that, does indeed sound like a lot of work - and sure enough ... it is!

When you realize just how busy most folks are today, then it really becomes almost self-explanatory why so many quits their regular exercises, or does them somewhat so-and-so, infrequently on and off and mostly not finding it any fun. Working is very seldom what we consider fun, right?

But seriously, does it have to be that way?

Luckily, the answer to that is no.You see, most people working out actually puts way too much time and effort into it. End result is that you A. don't get the results you want, and B. find your fitness routine very stressful. End result is that you stop training all together...

My goal here is to show you that you can get great results with very little investments in both time and money, like the 7 Minute Workout is proving. Stay tuned... :-)

The irony of going to the gym

Can it be said any better than this?

There's definitely something about going to the gym - for better and worse...

Get in shape

...It's not as hard as it may seem

Get in shape!Sure, even though the 'Get Fit Dude' here without a doubt is made more tongue-in-cheek than anything, the drawing also points to a far more serious issue: How a lot of folks still seem to think that you will need to run around for hours like a person possessed in order to shed those extra pounds and get in shape.

In effect, this totally wrong assumption is to a large extent responsible for a large group of people either shying away from exercise, or ending up hating it - a crying shame!

Sure, you will need some form of cardiovascular exercise - like walking, swimming, jogging, biking - for your heart and lungs (and overall health and well-being). But as a major part of getting in shape and losing weight? No, no and no! Not even close..

What you will find - as soon as you start with a good, proven system like the / Minute Workout - you will experience that the main ingredients are in fact proper weight training and some simple tweaks to your diet. Hours of training then? Totally wrong again. Just a few minutes every other day (like three times a week), that's all. And let's not forget - this is a perfect home fitness workout.

Add a healthy diet and some cardio a couple of times a week - remember, you don't have to run at all unless you want to - and you're all set!

Diets - a shortcut to failure!

Let me be brutally honest with you. If you want to gain unwanted weight (in other words, unwanted body fat) in the longer run, then a diet is definitely the way to go...

Dieting for weight loss have never worked - never has never will. Proper (as in common sense) nutrition and a simple workout routine is the way to go. Yes, you will initially lose weight if you go on a diet, but the weight will come back - some times with quite a bit more than what you lost.

What happens is that you lose water and muscle. The last part here is critical. You see, muscle is the "motor", the engine that - amongst other things - keeps your metabolism going also when you rest. As you reduce the calorie intake and you start to lose muscle, the body will "protect itself" or sort of hibernate by reducing the metabolism.

As soon as you end your diet and take up proper nutrition again - often times going back to your old habits - your body will turn on the ability to take up calories again. The end result is inevitably weight problems. This yo-yo weight loss and weight gain is really bad for anyone wanting to maintain a fit and healthy body and lifestyle.

The fastest way to stay fit and healthy is to combine a simple weight training program with basic cardio workouts and common sense nutrition. This is the quickest, safest, simplest and most enjoyable way to sustainable results!

The fitness industry is failing you!

Have you ever considered how come approximately 95% of people who starts a fitness regime fails? Or do you ever wonder if it's your fault that it is such hard work - yes often times outright boring - to stick to your workout schedule?

First off, let me assure you it is not your fault! The problem is simply that you are trying to use systems and methods for working out and getting fit that you are highly unlikely programmed to ... unless you happen to be amongst the select few (what we might call the natural athletes) who actually enjoy running for longer periods of time, or spending countless hours at the gym.

The good news is this: You don't need to find exercising boring or long-winded at all! In fact, a good home fitness workout - or a workout at the gym - can be totally effective with just a few minutes of your time - 3 times a week!

Yes, you read that right, there is no need to spend countless hours to get in shape. The fact is that you are probably trying too hard today - or going about it the wrong way.

The new workout tune: "Take it easy, take it easy!"

Just like that Eagles song goes

One of the major mistakes we make at a regular gym (or home) workout - when weight training is involved in particular - is that we plain and simply overdo it and don't give the muscles ample rest and time to heal and grow.

The fact is that training breaks down the muscle - it's called the catabolic phase (catbolic means breaking down). It is the rest phase that is the anabolic (building up) phase. And here's where we tend to get it all wrong - those who wants to build muscle in particular: We start to train way too early.

Simply because we are no longer sore doesn't mean that we ready to hit those same muscles again! It simply means that we are back at "square one" and that the anabolic phase has begun - the phase where the muscle compensates and begins to increase in strength. In essence you should really wait approximately 10 days before hitting that same muscle group with a new strength workout.

This is one of the corner stones of the 7 Minute Workout, and you really ought to check it out!

Treadmill dangers

Would you really take the risk?

I though so... Me neither. These exercise machines are scary things for sure :-)

Thanks for dropping by and for your comment Frank! You really don't really need as much as 30 minutes every day either, unless your an athlete (then you would need that - and more).
