The two main materials that you can use for the walls are glass or polycarbonate. Glass has almost gone by the way side because of how heavy and fragile it is. Polycarbonate comes in many thicknesses and is very light weight. The thinner polycarbonates can be rolled and stored if need be. It's also is a lot less likely to break if hit by that home run ball during batting practice.

With my new greenhouse I can start my seeds over a month earlier than I could before, giving me the ability to get an extra harvest out of my vegetable and fruit growing. Not only can I start earlier. I can grow a lot longer into the fall, without having to worry about frost or animals bulking up for the winter.

When it comes time to harvest your first tomato, you will not believe the difference between the hot house tomatoes and the tomatoes grown on your porch for years. Absolutely phenomenal! Along with the extended growing season, I can now grow things that otherwise would not survive where I live. I am able to keep it a steady 76 degrees in my greenhouse, day and night, enabling me to grow exotic plants and flowers that I never would have dreamed of growing myself. Now that I have my perfect greenhouse I am able to save money at the grocery store, enjoy my favorite hobby, and impress friends with my incredible fruits, veggies, and flowers. It was a great addition to my house, adding value to my property, and my life.
