Automated Valuation Methods
Automated valuation models (AVMs) are growing in acceptance. While they have been criticized by Appraisers and many Real Estate Agents, they have given the consumer information that was available but difficult to put together in a meaningful way. Zillow exploded on the scene in early 2006 just in time to catch the peak of the US housing bubble. Since then, many other sites have popped up with similar functionality.

- A feature on this long standing real estate site that contains great articles and information for buyers and sellers.

- The industry leader with lots of great features.
Coolest Feature(s): Graphs, historical sales data, lot lines with all neighboring values - Yahoo! Real Estate
- Not really a unique service as it returns the results from Zillow, Reply, and eppraisal.com but it's a great tool to use. Saves time and makes it easy to compare. I'd like to see them continue to add the other sites and allow users to provide feedback on the results.
