At Home Teeth Whitening

Wouldn't it be great if you could have whiter teeth? Isn't it annoying other people with perfectly white teeth seem to have been simply born with them?

The basic formula for most whitening systems is Hydrogen peroxide, which they put into a Gelatin compound so it can be applied in a tray system (while the whitening strips might help, the problem is they only touch 85% of the surface of the teeth, so the peroxide doesn't get in between the teeth where a lot of plaque can build up and make your teeth appear even more yellowish or grayish in color.

So, what is the "Home Teeth Whitening" formula?

Simple, Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide. Simply mix the peroxide and baking soda so it forms a pasty substance and brush your teeth with it.

The only problem with at home "formulas" is the fact that, to really brighten your teeth you should keep the paste on your teeth for a certain amount of time.

By simply brushing you won't be able to remove old stains (it is however great for day to day brushing and maintenance).

You really need to use the tray system, because, as I said you need to keep the paste on your teeth and another reason is because the % of hydrogen peroxide is higher (12.5% dental grade) then you buy over the counter.
