Five Things Every Entrepreneur Must Know Before Starting A Home Business In Dallas.
If you are considering a home business then congratulations. I believe you are making the right decision. I was once a nightclub bouncer who used a home business to free myself forever. I have made millions of dollars online by following a simple equation.
So here it is:
The Five Things Every Home Business Must Have To Be A Success
1) Unique Products: Make sure the product you market is unique. If you are marekting something that has been done a thousand times (a good example is vitamins) then you are competing against peole who are firmly entrenched in the market. There is very little chance you will succeed. Market products that have a big demand and little competition. They are hard to find but when you get the right match you will know. Make sure you like the product as well. There is nothing harder than marketing something that you do not believe in.
2) Compensation: Make sure you understand how you are getting paid. If you cannot figure it out then neither can anyone else and you should RUN. Always look for compensation plans that pay you up front as well as residually. You want to make big enough money up front that you can transition out of your job quickly. You also want to make enough residually that you can retire in five years or less. I find that selling products in excess of $500-$1000 acccomplishes this.
3) Marketing System: Make sure there is a proven, duplicatable marketing system. If you cannot get customers to you then you cannot sell anything. Period. If you cannot sell anything then you will go broke. Quickly. Make sure the marketing system fits your needs. Do you like doing live hotel meetings? If not, then make sure that is not the primary form of distribution.
4) Company Management: There is nothing worse than spending two years building a business only to see it evaporate. Research the credentials of the company management. Have they been succesful before? Do they have extensive business education? What are their long term goals? If they seem like more hype than substance then you should be very weary.
5) Global Expansion: Make sure the compnay has room for global expnsion. If it doesn't then your competition will become too fierce. Too many fish in a small pond. I hate to pick on nutritonals again but it is hard to expand a product like ths because of all the legalities that come with consumable products. I finds that information products tend to have the least red tape.
6) Giving Back: What is the company doing for the future? Are they philanthropic? Do they understand what goes around comes around or are they in it for a quick buck? If the company "feels" good the you have a winner.
Starting a home business chnaged my life and it can for you too. Make sure you do your research and stick to these six pricinples and you will save yourself a world of heartache.
