General Articles of Interest

A few articles that some squid's might be interested in.

Fraud Emails have been circulating recently claiming to be from Paypal,Egold (probably more)
They will usually say there is something irregular with your account. When you click the link on the email and login, these (blanks) will have your account details.
Login using your browser and forward the emails on to the company (ie.spoof@paypal.com).
Hope this helps,
Steve.
Optimize Your 404 Error Page
Error 404: Page Not Found
This would be most Webmaster's worst nightmare! But it needn't be.
When a visitor clicks on a link from a third party site that is temporarily down or mistypes a url of yours, they are redirected to a plain 404 error page.
As most people will just simply press back on their browser, you have lost another visitor you have worked hard for through your advertising and promotion efforts (Not to mention cost!).
Should You Send "Removes" back to Spammers?
Do you keep clicking "remove" links in spams, sending back "remove me" requests to spammers, yet your spam volume only seems to be increasing?

I went a different route when looking for money on the Internet -- consignment selling on eBay. I'd been doing it part time for years when my full-time programming gig suddenly ended, so the move to full time was natural. I've documented a lot of my "learning experiences" here on Squidoo -- check out my lenses and see!

PS: I do like some of the survey and web-site visit services too... gives me a chance to express my opinions and to see more of the web!

    Thankyou for the comment Stephen.

I did check your 'Squid' and the first thing I noticed was when I clicked your link on your Squidoo page was the fact you had under your name was 'Online Business Millionaire'.
I don't know you, but if you are not known on the web like me, then I personally would not use that title.
    To your success,
    Steve(web site CEO),
