Welcome To Squidoo's Home Garden Department
If you haven't been convinced from the health reports of harmful additives to your 'fresh' vegetables, or the rising cost of foods, I believe you soon will be........as the cost for healthy nourishing foods will continue to escalate.
Organic gardening is the most healthy vegetable gardening practice, assuring you that you'll be giving your body the nutrients and vitamins it needs, while eliminating toxins and chemicals.
I personally grow a few things like strawberries, raspberries, rhubarb, gooseberries, and chives in my outdoor home garden, and have plans to grow my vegetables during the winter inside - even if my 'indoor greenhouse room' is not fully constructed by that time. Yep! Got my organic gardening seeds ready and waiting for winter, as they won't be available locally for purchase during the winter! :)

Heading on over to a lot of links on this lens. I am trying to grow some food in our hard and need to do this all in containers I think. I haven't got much space and also everyone here is obsessed with how their garden looks - this means the ideal is concrete, a bbq and a pool. Not quite my idea of how things should be though! So I am slowly learning how to change my yard! Posted July 14, 2008 |
