Raise Money for Charity with the help of Twitter and Squidoo
Ranked #15,543 in Shopping, #156,817 overall
Share your favorite t-shirts and products on Twitter - earn money.
Part 1 Tweeting for Charity or Fame?
Part 2 - Tweeting for Charity.
This is the place you where your add the most important text. Let the visitors from twitter know that this is the stores you tweeted about and that the money you earn will go to ....
You want this lens to load quickly - do NOT add a poll, link plexo or blog feed.
Only add a product from all the shops you tweet about. Use the text module. You can add 1 text module for each store but the main goal is not to earn money from Squidoo - it's about making money for your favorite charity.
So you can copy and paste the product code you get at Zazzle. Lens rank and stars do not buy food, shelter or clothing for anyone.
TWEET the link to the lens. You earn 3 times.
1. your followers on twitter will thank you because you do not tweet links to random products all the time, but keep them in lenses they can visit now or later. When they visit this lens they can view the products you have selected - and the information about your favorite charity. They can/will buy something right away/later if you have selected something they want or need.
2. When you link all your "tweet lenses" together it's easy for other people looking for gift items. "Hey, @tweetergirl use to tweet about her gift idea lenses - anyone remember....."
3. A tweet is short - and will quickly fade away. A lens live on Squidoo - making money on it's own as long as Squidoo offer this service.
When you create your 2nd lens about stores or products you have tweeted about - Include it in the lens header/intro. < a href="www.squidoo.com/homeless-shelters-in-america" > Raising money for the Homeless in America< /a > remember to remove all space between < and >
When you have 7 lenses you can consider putting the links into their own text module and call it Lenses making money for the Homeless Shelters in America if this is the cause you support.
Remember that you do this for the homeless. Don't be shy. The shopkeepers get a tweet - and a product featured in your lens. You do not charge anything. Do not add a link plexo at the lens where you permit other Zazzlers to add their * - or your charity will get less money. If they add their * they will get the colum bonus and referral. You have to work much harder because if your visitors hit one of the links in that plexo - you get nothing for your charity. Only the Squidoo shared ad money and maybe if you stay among the top ranked lenses - 10-12 dollar extra.
