Congratulations on your success in the 2009 Giant Squid Awards! Cranberries are so good. Long Island is also another place where cranberry bogs as plentiful. I use to love going to the farm stand for fresh cranberries.
  • happynutritionist Dec 23, 2009 @ 8:03 am | delete
Long Island isn't all that far from us, it does make me wonder how many states have Cranberry Bogs...Maine, though, is known for their good berries, blueberries included. Thanks for the visit and have a wonderful Christmas.

Claudia, I don't think we have cranberry production in the UK/Europe why? But we see a lot of cranberry health products, cranberry juices, cranberries in cereals etc. Congrats on your Giant Lens nomination
  • happynutritionist Dec 14, 2009 @ 9:52 am | delete
I am not sure whether there are cranberrys in Europe or not...that would be an interesting thing to explore. I was surprised to find that there was/is a place where they are grown here in my State. Thanks for the visit and have a good Christmas. Congrats on your nomination as well. ~claudia
