Hello Fellow Wine Lovers!

I have vivid childhood memories of a strange glass jug filled with what appeared to be squished gray cherries in muddy cherry water. The jug rested in the very back of a lower kitchen cabinet and we kids were forbidden to go anywhere near it. I'm pretty sure that jug sat there for over 20 years. No kidding! Funny thing though, I never saw anyone actually take a drink from it. I've always wondered why.

When I first began my love affair with making homemade wine, I listened to the "old-timers" who were passionate about their homemade brew. They shared their secrets which was little more than putting fruit and water in a glass jug and well...just waiting.

After tasting the old-timers long awaited efforts (don't ask how it tasted) I became determined to produce a wine that rivaled those found in my favorite wine shops and I soon realized that there must be a fool-proof method to making wine at home.

Eventually, I sought guidance elsewhere.

Listen to the Experts

The Internet has been a godsend and has provided a wealth of valuable yet varying information. I have found and downloaded several good e-books on home wine making and have gained a tremendous amount of insight.

As a wine enthusiast, it is my goal to see that all wine connoisseurs aspire to become wine makers! Right now, I'd like to share my knowledge with you.
