The Homemakers Manifesto

What's "The Homemaker's Manifesto" you ask.  Well let me begin by saying, most women enter the world of parenting with high ideals and expectations.  Then the dust begins to settle and they find themselves hip deep in diapers wondering  "What have I done with my life and how do I get it back?"

Maybe you find yourself pulling your hair out trying to stay organized at home, always feeling behind the 8 ball or that your words are lost in space instead of embedded in your children's heart?  At least that is how I used to feel.

Don't give up, you are not alone. The transition from living life on your terms, to living life...well not on your terms is challenging to say the least.  Give yourself some time, sit down and take an honest look at what you want in your life, how you want it to look and feel and write it down.  This will be your blueprint.  I like to call it "The Homemakers Manifesto" and I have found a few books that will help you construct one every step of the way.

Home Is Where Your Heart Is!

What if I could show you how to use all those high powered business and corporate skills to work in your family life. You can start being the CFO of your home and literally save your family thousands of dollars a year? The more you save, the less you and your husband have to work therefore giving you and your family more quality time. It takes discipline and patience, but is well worth it. Let's explore some of the ways you can really enjoy your home life to the fullest.
  • Create organized living, with a clean home, that isn't solely up to you to create. Team work makes the dream work with this one and zones are howyou start.
  • Develop organized shopping; learn to buy what you need, no more, no less. Trust me this is a skill that you need to learn and it all starts with tracking.
  • Learn how to become completely debt free. Stop the bleeding and start working your way towards financial freedom.
  • Discover the gift of obedient, respectful children. Training your children for living a fully integrated, holistic life should be the goal of every parental unit. Start being intentional instead of wishing it just happens.
  • Have a loving, passionate marriage. No going through the motions on this one.
  • Cultivate deep and rich friendships that are more than just carpooling your mutual kids to soccer practice.
