William has been involved in art his entire life. His adult artwork has ranged from seascapes and landscapes, particularly New England scenes, to home portraits and murals.

William is a member of the Duxbury Art Association, often contributing to the yearly juried shows. He has been represented by the Kyle Studio Gallery in Falmouth, MA as well as the Arnold Art Gallery in Newport, RI. In 2006, he was given honorable mention for "Best Oil/Acrylic Painting" at the Duxbury Midsummer Art Show. Also in 2007, he was awarded "Best Pembroke Artist" for his oil piece "Gooseberry Cove, Newport."

Through his artwork, William tries to inspire, relax, and captivate the viewer, focusing on the everyday surroundings, transforming them into something that will introduce the beholder to a greater appreciation for the complexities of nature and life.

An initial sketch is done of any home portrait. After the sketch is completed, it will be sent via email to the customer for approval.

After approval, the canvas is primed to ensure a long-lasting piece, using only high-quality canvases and primer. After the priming process, the painting process begins. Fine detail of the painting, the mood, and spectacular color are achieved to make an excellent home portrait.

Photos of your home can be taken by you or by the artist, if your home is in the New England area. Photos can be emailed or mailed directly to the artist. Further instruction will be given for photography once the piece has been commissioned.

A variety of sizes can be commissioned for a home portrait, such as 16x20, 18x24, or a panoramic piece. Your work will arrive framed, unless otherwise requested, featuring an appropriate frame style.

For any commission, a 50% deposit will be required to initiate the painting. This deposit will be invoiced through paypal to your paypal account. Checks are also accepted. A contract will be mailed or emailed directly to you after discussing the details of the piece. Once the contract is received signed along with deposit, the initial sketch will be provided via email within one week. After approval of the sketch, the painting process will begin and typically takes 8-10 weeks to complete, including dry time. The remaining 50% of payment will be due to the artist six weeks following the date of the signed contract. An invoice will be sent via PayPal or an email reminder will be sent. The painting will be mailed to the customer upon completion, carefully wrapped for shipment through USPS Priority Mail, or express mail if preferred for an additional fee. Delivery confirmation and insurance will be provided at no additional costs. Local delivery is also available.
