My Ringworm Battle
It was one of those things when I said, "Oh, that CAN'T be RINGWORM!" One of those things where you don't think it could happen to you but it DOES! That is what had happened to me this year. My husband and I live out in the country and I believe I had picked it up in the spring when I was out gardening in our garden on a warm summery day. As I was bathing later on in the evening, I noticed a patch on my left side and a very small circle on my chin. In desperation, I tried over the counter creams and took antibiotics and nothing seemed to really help..So, I turned to a friend and found some home remedy ideas and it seemed to work wonders. Further down the lens, I will share with you some of the findings:

FIRST of all, what does RINGWORM look like?
First off, I am going to talk to you a little bit about what ringworm looks like and what it actually is that way you can get a little more familiar with it. It is a very common disease caused by fungal attacks on the skin. You will see red/pink circle patches on the skin. The patchy areas can be irritated and inflamed and can also be very itchy. Fluid also may proceed from these patches. It just depends on how bad your ringworm is. What can RINGWORM be caused by?
Ringworm can be caused by many things. It is a very infectious disease. You will mostly find these patches near parts of your body where it sweats the most such as your waist, underarm, underneath your thighs, etc.
You can get ringworm by your pets(cats and dogs). That is another way I may have gotten ringworm because I have four outdoor cats that play alot out in the wooded areas of our home and I may have petted them while I was working in my garden. You can also get ringworm if you use someone else's towels or anything an infected person formerly used that is not clean. If you don't treat ringworm right away, it can easily spread and may cause you more problems later. So, you will want to treat it IMMEDIATELY!

Home Remedy #1-Papaya
Yep! You GUESSED it! A PAPAYA! Go to your local produce at your grocery store and there you will be able to purchase a papaya and a cure for your ringworm! Take a raw piece of it and rub it over your ringworm patch. The patch will seem irritated and inflamed, but don't worry, that means that the papaya is doing its job! Rub that papaya on there about 3-4 times a day. Continue until the patches are GONE! About Me

Home Remedy #3-Go TANNING!
Yes, a good sunbath will help heal those ringworms up! It helps dry up the skin and someone even told me when they did this, their ringworm patches disappeared! Home Remedy #4-Clorox Bleach?.
I would definitely use this as your last resort but I put this in the Squidoo lens because it actually helped me with the one I had on my left side. Just put some bleach on a Q-tip and rub the affected area. After a few applications on a daily basis, the ringworm should dry up and disappear.
