Hello, my name is Josh, a formerly homeschooled student. This means I graduated with honors from...you guessed it...home. My parents bought my curriculum, setup my schedule for the school year (I always got a Summer break) and prepared me for a lifetime of learning. My experiences being a homeschooled student and working in a homeschool bookstore for a while have given me a lot of insight into what it takes to successfully educate a child at home. Now I help my parents run a successful home education website.

    It's so great to hear from someone who has been homeschooled and enjoyed their experience. Maybe my blog on homeschool software can eventually add to your curriculum advice as I start my quest to find appropriate and recommended software! :)

    I was a self-motivated homeschooler when I was young. That self-motivation has followed me into my adult life. I hope to pass on some encouragement, inspiration, and motivation to others.
