I have been searching for a good Spanish program for a while now. I wish we had started younger so we could have used Rosetta Stone.

Why would you need to start younger in order to use Rosetta Stone?

With so many native spanish speakers in the US, most everyone probably knows someone proficient in Spanish. Why not think about (as an ennrichment activity) inviting someone to dinner once a month who is proficient in spanish, and ask them to hold brief conversations with your student each time?

I have a friend who recommended Spanish in 10 minutes a day. She is Mexican and a native Spanish Speaker. I bought it, but haven't gotten it off the shelf yet.

I love Rosetta Stone! We haven't done any serious language study but our library used to have a version of RS we could use for free and I was very impressed!
