Homeschooling works for some children if the parent follows a good curriculum and can teach effectively. I think the main function of school is also to socialize students so it's a bit of a disservice to remove your child from the schooling system entirely.

Consider....*FAVORITED*! :) I was homeschooled my whole life....and I loved it. The question I got the most was probably 'How do you have friends?" and "What does your social life look like?" and "What are your parents protecting you from?" Then of course, there was always that person who asked "Do you get to wear your PJ's to school??" I loved it, and I wish that all good parents would homeschool their children...it's such a learning experience for life. Thanks for this lens!
