We are just starting with the homeschooling and this is a great idea. I had thought that he would miss the yearbook and now I see that we can create one. Thanks for the idea. Angel Blessed.

I like this idea a lot! Definitely not something I would have thought of on my own. I'll have to see if my daughter is interested in making a yearbook.

We love scrapbooking and making cards using our Cricut Expression to create cool stuff. In fact we now have Cricut Card Making Kits that make great Art Projects for Children

Hi ~ we don't quite have a yearbook, but since we have to turn in a portfolio of the children's work at the end of the year in PA, we create more of a scrapbook of the children's work and events. Last year we made a "newspaper" where the children wrote "articles" of the things they did. Maybe we will try more of a yearbook style this year. Thanks for the ideas. :D

Clear informative, instructive and educative lens. It would be very sweet to make a yearbook for children's homeschool. You have shared very valuable information with us through such a well created lens with great resources. Thanks for your effort and for sharing your experience. I would like to share with you an interesting and informative site about online studies, including accounting course online, electrical engineering online, online computer classes and many other courses.

Thanks for sharing. We are new homeschoolers, but just completed a yearbook for our local Christian Preschool. As a digital scrapbooker it seemed natural to make a yearbook/scrapbook. I will be continuing the tradition as we begin homeschooling.

Wonderful idea! My sister home-schools and I was just kidding her yesterday about "And will you be coming out with a yearbook?" Well, ha ha ha-- it can be done. These are some great ideas!
  • groovyoldlady Aug 27, 2007 @ 6:27 am | delete
Oh, and you may want to include photos of arts and crafts projects as well...

This is a great lens! We made actual "yearbooks" when the older 2 were in the 7th and 9th grades. They were so much fun! With the younger two we've started a photo journal for each year which beefs up our portfolio and gives us a pemanent record for our memories.

Terrific ideas! We homeschooled all the way through and actually have yearbooks, done by our support groups, but I love your suggestions! Susan Planning Your Homeschooling Year - Getting it Organized and Making it Fun
