A Burglar Alarm System and Why You Think You Dont Need One.

Here are some of the main reasons people feel that they don't need a home security alarm system and why there dead wrong.

1.) I have a dog

This one of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to residential security.

wireless alarm systems are so advanced that you don't have to worry about them setting off the alarm anymore. Really it not the 80's anymore.

Your dog may protect you if you are there but many burglars wont have a problem with shooting your dog to get access to you or your jewelry.

What happens if there is a fire in your house? Can a dog dial 911? A dog is a part of your family and is not an easy thing to lose.

2.)I have kids

Ok this one really makes no sense to at all.

Wireless alarm systems are designed to protect your children.

Don't you feel responsible for the safety of your family?

You can have chimes installed on the doors so you know when someone is using the doors.

Door chimes prevent child casualties, a child could easily run out into the street and get flattened by a car or drowned helplessly in the pool.

A wireless home security alarm can prevent your teenagers from sneaking out and getting into trouble late at night.

3.) I have a gun

Ok who protects your gun when your not around.

Imagine coming home after a nice dinner one night with a burglar in your house with your jewelry in one hand and your gun in the other.

Killed in your house with your gun.

If it really came down to it anyway would you really be able to blow someones face off In front of your Children?

4.)Safe neighborhood

Really do you really think you live in a safe neighborhood.

Crime travels, burglars have cars.

Thieves aren't stupid, They would much rather target nice homes in nice areas than to rob poor people in poor neighborhoods.

5.)Had a monitored security service before nobody broke in.

Well it worked then didn't it.

Every residential security company will put some type of sign in your yard or sticker on your window to let intruders know you are protected.

Burglars are smart remember, if they know you are protected they wont bother you.

They are looking for easy targets. An easy target to a burglar is anyone without a burglar alarm system, If they want in bad enough they WILL get in.

These are just a few myths that give people false security and make them easy prey.

This is true in nature Predators love easy Prey.
