Own Your Own Home Weather Station

Today, advanced weather instruments are not just for scientists or television stations. There are many different types of weather instruments that are available for the home. Everything from thermometers and rain gauges to lightning detectors and professional wireless weather stations are now available.

Once you are up and running with your home weather station, you may elect to become a "weather watcher". Many local T. V. stations use weather watchers as a extra source of weather information for their surrounding areas. The watchers collect data such as temperature, precipitation amounts and other weather information, provided they have the necessary home equipment.
