Hand Dipped Beeswax Candles

  I bought a dipping vat to make candles because I didn't have the money to support my candle habit. My father bought me a bunch of wax many years ago (he has since passed). I still have some of the wax he bought me and refer to it as "The Gift That Keeps Giving". This is one of the easiest ways to make candles, especially when your pipes wont handle wax being poured down the sink (like when you need to boil-out wax from pots to change dye color or scent). All you do is add wax to the dipping vat as needed, the wick you use depends on the diameter of the candle your making (I use 4/0 cotton for tapers).
