Discovering Actress Honor Blackman
British actress Honor Blackman (born August 22, 1925) is probably best remembered for her roles as Cathy Gale in the cult TV series, The Avengers, as well as Pussy Galore in the James Bond movie, Goldfinger.
Although she has starred in numerous other theater, television and film productions, these are the two characters for which I remember her most and in which I enjoy watching her perform.

All on one DVD are the earliest examples of Honor Blackman as Cathy Gale from 1962. Although the episodes look somewhat dated now, it has to be remembered that they were often recorded live or from a first run performance. However, the stories are very good, but require a little viewer patience. Mr. Teddy Bear, in particular, stands alongside the best of the Mrs. Peel tales.

- I've definitely got to see Honor Blackman in the Avengers at some point! She looks every bit as formidable as Emma. Real Judo, too.
NOTE! You have a touch of the "Dreaded Flapping Photo Gallery" syndrome... the whole lens is bouncing up and down past the photo gallery (view it to see what I mean). It happens when the photos in a Photo Gallery Module are different sizes. If you resize the photos or put them on a white background that's the same height, it'll fix the problem!

- I've never seen Honor Blackman in the Avengers but will try to find the series on DVD so that I can decide which one of all those ladies were the best Steed's action girl ;)

- Loved landing here from Twitter tonight. My first viewing of Goldfinger was at the drive-in San Diego, CA. Our babysitter would pile us in the car and head out. I did not know Pussy Galore ='d Honor Blackman...learned something new today!
