THE PRICE OF FREEDOM
God put this in my heart after I went through some photographs of armed servicemen.
I hope it conveys the immense thankfulness I have for the fallen soldiers and our forces today.
If not for them.. where would I be?
May God bless them, their friends and loved ones.
USA
May God richly bless them and their families.
Thank you to the men & women who serve our country, to the parents who raised them to be self-less, and the loved ones who have to miss them.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
IN A SOLDIER'S ANGUISHED CRY
WHILE FALLING IN THE BATTLE
HIS COMRADS FORCED TO WATCH HIM DIE.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
IN THE HEART OF THE ONE LEFT BEHIND
KNOWING DREAMS THEY SHARED TOGETHER
WON'T BE THE ONE OF MAN AND WIFE

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
IN A NEWBORN BABY'S CRY
THE ONE THAT DADDY WILL NOT HEAR
'CAUSE HE'S FLYING IN THE SKY.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
BY A FATHER'S SINGLE TEAR,
THE ONE HIS DAUGHTER NEVER SEES
'CAUSE SHE'S FAR AWAY FROM HERE.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
IN A MOTHER'S GASP OF BREATH,
WHEN SHE LEARNS FROM STRANGERS AT HER DOOR
OF HER BABY SOLDIER'S DEATH.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
IN A COFFIN THAT IS FLAG DRAPED
CONTAINED WITHIN IS THE SOLDIER
WHOSE LIFE HE FREELY GAVE.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
BY A TOMBSTONE ON THE GROUND
MARKING THE LIFE OF A SOLDIER
WHO WAS TRUE, BRAVE AND PROUD.

THE PRICE OF FREEDOM IS MEASURED
WITH EVERY STEP OUR FORCES MAKE,
TO PROTECT THE VERY FREEDOM
THAT WE FOR GRANTED, TAKE.

My father taught me to always say thank you when I saw someone who was serving our country. Now that I have the web, 40 years later, I can say it to even more. Thank you for your unselfishness in protecting me and my family's freedom. God bless you.

- To all soldiers of all American wars,
Thank You for your bravery for our freedom and peace of mind. This country is the greatest country in the world and it was ordained by our one and only Lord and only him.
Please do not forget to thank him for your life and safety every day that you are still alive. I also urge you to receive your salvation (free of charge because JESUS CHRIST shed his innocent blood for all of our lives so we can have eternal life with him and our heavenly father) before it is too late.

- Dear Lord,
THANK YOU so much for everything that you have done for this country even thou we have forgotten you, but you never fail to love us. If it was not for our loving, kind, gracious merciful, wonderful, magnificient, holy, forgiving father in heaven we would not have this great country of ours. Please forgive us for not remembering our great King when we should. Lord, We love you for the men and women that protect the United States of America from our foreign enemies. We ask for you to please heal our land.
In Jesus Christ Holy Name, Amen
