The Druid Power Over Poison quest chain has five quests: 1) Lessons Anew, 2) The Principal Source, 3) Gathering the Cure, 4) Curing the Sick, and 5) Power Over Poison.
Step-By-Step to the Cure Poison Spell
Quest 1 - Lessons Anew
Set your hearthstone for Thunder Bluff, and then go to Turak Runetotem on the Elder Rise to pick up the first quest.
The quest sends you to Moonglade to speak with Dendrite Starblaze in the village of Nighthaven.
Use your "Teleport Moonglade" spell. (That's the one that you received when you did the Druid Bear Form Quests. It is permanently in your spell book.)
This will place you right in front of Dendrite Starblaze's building. Go inside and up to the second floor to talk to him. He will give you the next quest.
NOTE: If you are on a PvP server Moonglade is contested territory, so watch out for high level members of the opposing faction. Try to stay as close to the guards as you can while you are in Moonglade; the guards will attack anyone who starts a fight.

- Azeroth Cookbook: WoW Tips, Guides, etc.
- This site has some really great quest walk-throughs for Druids, Hunters, Rogues, and much more. (Many are mine, so check it out!)
- Free WoW Guides at GotWarcraft
- This site has a large volume of FREE Guides including Class Guides, Profession Guides, Dungeon Guides, Raids, and more. It's one of my favorites!
Quest 2 - The Principal Source
NOTE: This quest can be little difficult to solo at level 14, so you may want to bring along a friend to watch your back and help with the respawns. You will be returning to this area at level 16 when you do part 1 of the third quest in the Sea Lion Form quest chain, so you could always try it then.
Dreadmist Peak is north of the Crossroads and west of the Gold Road (the north-south road that runs through the Barrens.) It is roughly west of the spot where the road from Durotar intersects the Gold Road. The pool is at (48,18) if you use map coordinates.
You will know you are going the right way when you see the air turn dark red from the dark red mist near the summit. At the summit of the peak you will find a large number of Burning Blade Accolyte mobs level 12 to 15. Be careful! They will double team you if they are in pairs.

You have to walk into the pool and double click the flask to collect the sample. The mobs respawn quickly, so get back to full health BEFORE you collect the sample from the pool. Collecting the sample will also aggro the other mobs around the pool. After you collect the sample turn into bear form and RUN AWAY!
Bring the filled vial to Tonga Runetotem at the Crossroads. He is standing near the second gate after you enter from the north. He will give you the next quest.

- The Tauren Chef
- This is the place to purchase the Tauren Chef's Original Tauren Chef Cookbook, (formerly known as The Original and Strictly Unofficial World of Warcraft Cookbook.)
This cookbook takes in-game recipes and brings them into the real world, so that you can eat what your character does. Crispy Bat Wing, Crocolisk Gumbo, Beer Basted Boar Ribs, and Dig Rat Stew . . . Yumm! Or try Savory Deviate Delight - Yaaarrr!
Quest 3 - Gathering the Cure
Look for Lost Barrens Kodos (lvl 13-15) north and east of the Crossroads, just south of the Sludge Fen and near the Samophlange quest building. You may have to kill those annoying hyenas and raptors in order to get to the Kodos. These Kodos should drop horns when killed. You can also find Kodos that drop horns around the Stagnant Oasis south-east of the Crossroads.
The earthroot is easy if you have Herbalism as one of your professions. You can find earthroot in and near the hills and mountains in the Barrens.
If you don't have herbalism you can kill those few mobs that drop earthroot, or buy it from certain vendors or at the Auction House. I recommend checking the vendors, because the price is low. Check Hula'mahi, the Reagents, Herbs & Poison supplier at the Crossroads. The supply is limited, but it respawns, so check back if he has none. There are other vendors who also carry it. The AH may have it, but the price will be higher.
Take the items you have collected to Tonga Runetotem and pick up the next quest.

Quest 4 - Curing the Sick
Tonga Runetotem will give you 10 doses of curative animal salve. Drag the icon onto your tool bar.
Sickly gazelles roam throughout the Barrens. You can't miss them; they are the bright green gazelles with a cloud of green skulls floating around them.

Target the gazelle with a left click or tab, and right click the salve to use it.
When you have cured all 10 gazelles use your Teleport Moonglade spell to return to Dendrite Starblaze in Moonglade. He will give you the next quest.
Quest 5 - Power Over Poison
Turak Runetotem will teach you the spell Cure Poison, an instant cast spell that can be cast up to a 40 yard range and cures 1 poison effect on the target.
Congratulations! You're done!
